Tim is a proven composer who has written music for all genres that has been heard by millions around the world on cable TV and in theaters.

From as young as eight Tim recalls listening to film scores.  He would rewind VHS tapes to re-watch scenes that had music he was drawn to.

“I remember the first film score I got.  It was the Robin Hood Prince of Thieves soundtrack by Michael Kamen on cassette tape and actually wanted it for the Bryan Adams “Everything I do” song.  Ironically I immediately fell in love with the sound of the orchestra and Kamen’s beautiful score instantly drew me in.  I’ve been hooked ever since and literally played the cassette until it wore out.  I still listen to that entire soundtrack at least once a year.”

Eventually Tim found a passion for playing instruments with Clarinet being his first.  After moving on to the guitar he eventually started a band with some friends from high school.  Unbeknownst to him this laid the foundation for his first film project.

“I always thought I would take a Danny Elfman or Hans Zimmer type of path into film scoring through leveraging the success of my band to get my first scoring job.  It turns out my experience in writing rock music is what helped get my foot in the door.”

As fate would have it he acquired his film project after meeting the Director Tony O’Brien at a bachelor party.  Tony told him of a movie he was working on and in that moment Tim knew he could waste no more time trying to make it in a band.

“The next day I literally dropped everything I was doing and put my full focus on showing Tony that I was the man for the job.   I knew if I spent a minute working towards anything else I’d be betraying my purpose in life.  It didn’t come easy, as Tony ended up going through 2 other composers before giving me a shot based on a demo I put together.

Since then Tim has written music for the TV Series “Baby Daddy” on Freeform (formerly ABC Family), a variety of Lifetime movies, USA movies, reality shows and independent films.
